This occurs at a time when stakeholders are worried about how galamsey may affect water bodies and the environment as a whole.
Before the meeting, Mr Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the NPP’s deputy communications director, pleaded with all Ghanaians to support the president in resolving this issue. He declared that the President is dedicated to eradicating the threat.
“We the NPP will support the president to deal with this menace,” portions of his statement said on Tuesday, October.
