Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Mujahid Ahmed Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam, has expressed his support for Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Mona4Real who has been involved in multiple legal disputes since 2022,.
After being charged with wire fraud, money laundering, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy, Mona4Real was apprehended in the UK in January 2022 and extradited to the US in February 2023. She was allegedly involved in a $2 million romance scam.
Fancy Gadam claimed that she was wearing a blouse with a photo of Mona4Real on it to show support for the rapper during a recent appearance with Bryt TV.
“The whole of Ghana misses her so much, so I am repping her,” he said.
When asked about his relationship with her, Fancy Gadam said he isn’t just a fan or a friend, saying, “She is my sister, and we are missing her.”
Fancy Gadam went on to say that not only does everyone in Ghana miss Mona4Real, but he does too. He reassured everyone, saying he had spoken to Mona4Real multiple times and that she is safe.
“She’s safe, I know she’s safe wherever she is. I talk to her whenever I get the chance,” he said.
