GHANAIANS MAY SOON GET FED UP WITH DR. LIKEE – Ola Michael

Ola Michael, a well-known Ghanaian filmmaker, has said what he thinks to be the brutal truth. Some may label him a prophet of doom.

Ola Michael said when discussing the difficulties the film business has faced recently that if caution is not used, the problems would not be resolved anytime soon.

He commended people like Dr. Likee for their efforts in preserving an industry that was on the verge of extinction due to the skits they had been putting out in recent months.

While praising Dr. Likee and the others, the host of the Neat FM mid-Morning show was quick to add that if caution is not taken, the nation’s moviegoers may eventually become tired of the way they act.

Ola To support his argument, Michael used examples of how artists like Santo and Judas got things going in the past, left the scene so that Agya Koo could take over and do his thing until he became well-known, and then how Agya Koo was left hanging so that artists like Kwaku Manu and Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin could also emerge as the face of the industry.

He continued by saying that he had previously counseled Agya Koo and warned him to exercise caution when handling his fame and God-given talent because he lacked any official training in those areas. He will now repeat that advice to Dr. Likee.
