Patrick Amenuvor sneaked into the Ghanaian social media trends when NKONKONSA.com announced his commencement on what was believed to be a Stand-a-Thon and went viral with it.
At last, Patrick discussed his attempt. In an interview with Zion Felix, a well-known blogger and content creator from Ghana, Patrick disclosed that Afua Asantewaa’s Singathon was his inspiration.
He and his group, he claims, came up with the name “stand-a-thon” because they couldn’t find any mention of such an endeavour on the official Guinness World Record web pages.
Patrick continued by saying that he was so overwhelmed by the cost of completing an application that he could not proceed, leading him to take on the task without the Guinness World Record board’s sanction.
