HOW DO YOU ASK SOMEONE IF THEY’RE“SAD”- Lydia Forson Drags Media Houses

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has criticized media practitioners over how they have covered certain incidents.

A funeral service for the late Christian Atsu Twasam were held on Friday in the State House’s courtyard, where family members gathered to pay their respects.

However, a reporter from Adom TV asked one of Christian Atsu’s children how he was feeling about his father’s passing during the event; this question has drawn strong criticism from Ghanaians.

Lydia, an actress, has also used her Twitter account to criticize media outlets for their sporadic lack of professionalism when reporting on events.

She tweeted, Funerals are not concerts or for entertainment! Reporters should learn some decorum in how they cover and engage with mourners! How do you ask someone if they’re “sad”?! And shoving cameras in people’s faces and not giving them even a moment of privacy. Like?!!
