Beverly Afaglo, a Ghanaian actress, has discussed her current method of choosing jobs, claiming that she is now concentrated on endeavours that bring financial rewards or contribute to the development of her career.

Beverly recently pledged to pick her projects wisely and to stay away from any engagement with scandals or environments that do not support her objectives in interview with TV3.

“I am too busy for scandals and spaces that will not give me money. Right now, I select my movies. I mean, I’m not trying to gain fame anymore,” she revealed.

Beverly said she had made a name for herself as an A-list actor despite the fact that she may not have attained the same degree of notoriety as celebrated actress Genevieve Nnaji

“While I may not be Genevieve, if you mention A-list actors, you’ll mention me. So, if I receive a script, it has to either propel my career further or offer good financial compensation because I have other sources of income,” she explained.

Beverly noted that she presently emphasizes roles that have the potential to enhance her career or bring major financial benefits because she maintains numerous businesses in addition to her acting career and is a mother of two.

“Movies are produced every day, but it has to be a particular movie that can take my career to the next level, or else I won’t do it. It’s not easy to approach some of us,” she pointed out.

Beverly also mentioned that some producers would want to work with A-list performers like herself but find it difficult to pay their costs or adhere to their demands.

“There are producers who want us A-list actors in their movies, but perhaps they can’t afford us, or maybe the script doesn’t interest me because I don’t see where it will take me,” she questioned.
