After his attempt to mock and disgrace the security man, dancehall superstar Samini has expressed remorse for his actions and apologized to the Legon security officer with his head down in shame.
The musician posted a video on Twitter yesterday, mocking a teenage security guard at the University of Ghana campus who had rejected him access since he didn’t have his admittance ticket with him.
Samini, who must have been taken aback that the security guard didn’t seem to mind his celebrity status by allowing him entry despite the fact that he didn’t have his security pass on him, decided to record the incident, denigrate the young man, and then post the video on Twitter in the hopes that his fans would roast him.
Events didn’t turn out the way he had planned, as he received harsh criticism out of his own fanbase, who notified him he was irresponsible and also that the security guard was simply doing his job.
After recognizing he was wrong, this morning, the “Linda” crooner swallowed the bitter pill and apologized for distributing the obscene footage and embarrassed the security guard.
He tweeted; “After my post about the incident at the security gate I’ve realized majority of you advised that I should have done the right thing.Nothing makes my case right regardless of how many cards I have and how upset I got .#nocardnoentry Apologies to the young man doing his job.”
