The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said that if elected president, Ghanaians will hold him more accountable than their major rival, John Mahama, who he claims will not answer to the people.
Speaking on March 23, 2024, at the NPP International Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa Bawumia said that, as he has never held the office of president before, he will be more answerable to Ghanaians in that capacity because, unlike Mahama, who won’t run again, he will have another chance to stand for election.
