Actress Jackie Appiah has reacted to Nollywood actor, Junior Pope’s passing.
While travelling to make a movie, Nigerian actor Junior Pope perished in a boat accident.
Along with a few other crew members on the boat, he also passed away.
Concerns over the safety and well-being of actors and actresses on film sets have been raised by the death of Junior Pope, and a number of African film industry professionals have called for appropriate action to be taken moving ahead.
Leading African actress Jackie Appiah responded to the news of Junior Pope’s passing by expressing shock at the actor’s untimely passing.
The actress hopes that nobody perishes while trying to obtain their quota of bread.
Her post read “RIP @jnrpope and to the crew members. This is really sad. May we not die in pursuit of our daily bread.
