MY EX MARRIED ANOTHER WOMAN WHILE WE WERE STILL DATING – Sista Afia

Sista Afia, a Ghanaian musician, has spoken up about how a betrayal from an ex-boyfriend changed the way she views romantic relationships.

Sista Afia claimed in an interview with Emelia Brobbey on Adom TV’s Okukuseku program that she made the mistake of getting involved with the wrong person because she wanted to embrace her youthful enthusiasm and experience love to the fullest.

The singer claimed that her partner having a child with another woman was the first warning sign she noticed. Sista Afia claimed that she accepted her fate and kept the relationship going despite being blinded by love.

When she learned that her beloved had wed another woman while they were still dating, what she had believed to be unwavering love came crashing down.

Even though she withheld some aspects of the incident, she acknowledged that she was hurt since she had not anticipated her longtime partner being so callous.

“At a point, I let go and I became happy because sometimes when a partner harbours certain negative feelings, God reveals it to you early. So I felt relieved, like blessed. It became a learning point for me for any future relationship. I tell any potential partner what I’ve gone through so they don’t repeat such actions, she said.

Sista Afia says her lover did not see her worth because her future was quite uncertain at that time, adding that “where I am now, I doubt he ever saw me getting here.”

She claimed that she had acquired an open-minded perspective on partnerships based on her personal experience. She claims that she now realizes that having lower expectations can result in fewer setbacks.

She advised women to be strong and ready for anything so that, in the event of the worst scenario, they may carry on with their lives and not dwell on the past.
