PRIORITISING OUR MUSIC HAS BEEN GHANA’S MAJOR SETBACK TO GLOBAL RECOGNITION – KJ Spio

Ghanaian Artiste, KJ Spio has called attention to a significant obstacle standing in the way of Ghana’s music industry’s international exposure.

The UK-based artist stated that it has been difficult for the music industry to break barriers when it comes to prioritizing and promoting artists in an interview with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360 on Friday.

“I think most importantly owing our home and making sure we prioritise it,” he told Giovani.

After a lengthy career as an artist manager and producer, KJ Spio has made the decision to pursue a career in show business, having worked with artists such as Sarkodie.

His new song titled ‘Undress’ which is his first track features Sarkodie and Oxlade.

When questioned about his sudden change of mind, he said “it’s like the coach getting into the game. You always have different ideas trying to impose your vision on other people but if you can do it better then you can tell it.”
