Ghanaian dancehall music legend Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known by his stage name as Stonebwoy, has shared his opinions on why Nigeria has more prominent musicians than Ghana.
In an interview with the American program Break Fast Club Show, the Ghanaian musician credited Nigeria’s prosperous music industry to its large population.
Before complimenting their tenacity, he first gave credit to their population for the accomplishments of our Nigerian contemporaries.
According to Stonebwoy, the two aforementioned characteristics are the key reasons why Nigerian musicians are more well-known worldwide than Ghanaian ones.
Following these two thoughtful remarks, Stonebwoy praised our local musicians for giving it their all despite not having the resources and support that Nigerians do.
