The Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has charged the senior national football team, the Black Stars to go all out for glory ahead of tonight’s vital World Cup qualification play-off against Nigeria.
This year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be decided by a first-leg African play-off between the two West African superpowers.
Prior to the Black Stars’ monumental encounter with the Super Eagles, which will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi this evening, Dr. Bawumia has issued a message of goodwill and a rallying appeal to the team.
“I wish the Black Stars the best of luck tonight, as they host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off first leg in Kumasi,” the Vice President wrote on his social media handles Friday morning.
