Entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has backed Ghanaian actor John Peasah, who is also known as Drogba from the TV show YOLO, in bringing to the attention of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia a promise that has not been kept.
Arnold thinks it is suitable to publicly remind the vice president of his promise to support Drogba’s healthcare as it has not yet been fulfilled.
The entertainment pundit pointed out that it is a good idea to remind those who have promised support, given the intense pain Drogba is experiencing from his health problems.
He encouraged Dr. Bawumia to keep his word and assist in easing Drogba’s pain.
“I am sure the VP promised to assist in the treatment of his ailment abroad. We know how busy the vice president has been with campaign activities, so there is nothing wrong with Drogba serving a reminder because he is in pain. If it’s been months without feedback, he is not wrong to remind him.
“I am sure he has been expecting it for long and is going through pain. So, whoever has been tasked by the vice president to settle the issue, we are pleading with you to do the needful,” he said in Twi on UTV’s United Showbiz, hosted by MzGee, on August 3, 2024.
This statement follows Drogba’s social media post reminding Dr. Bawumia about his promise to support his treatment abroad.
