Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has opened up about how he felt when his son, actor Yul Edochie, revealed he had chosen his colleague, Judy Austin, as a second wife,
Yul Edochie made headlines in April of this year when he declared Judy to be his second wife.
May, his first wife, has since voiced her disapproval of his choice, saying that she will not be persuaded to accept anything that does not line up with her beliefs.
In a recent interview with Vanguard, Pete Edochie admitted that while he didn’t agree with his son’s decision, it was his to decide.
“I didn’t feel good, but like I said, I’m a Christian and I read the Bible. Solomon, with 700 wives and 300 concubines, was branded a man of wisdom. It’s his choice and for whatever reason he decided to take a second wife, that’s what I can say,” he was quoted as saying.
