In a recent radio interview, media personality, Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, better known by his stage name KKD, admitted that leaving his career and moving in with his family in the United Kingdom was not the best choice he has ever made.
The ace broadcaster, MC, and eloquent speaker admitted on 3FM that he made his family sacrifices for his job, which he now regrets.
The well-known fashionista, KKD said that he had previously served as general manager of a prominent Ghanaian company.
Because she was unable to find employment in Ghana at the time, his wife and their two children were residing in the United Kingdom.
“Looking back, one of the things I would have corrected was quitting my job to live with my wife and kids in the United Kingdom. I wouldn’t have divorced her. But we could have found a way to fix it,” he opened up.
“I used to buy tickets and travel on weekends just to make love to my wife and check on the family.
I was young, and I could afford it. So why not. I got tired of the long-distance relationship. So I quit my job, which gave me a house, a company car, a chauffeur and a good salary to save my marriage. If the mountain does not come to Mohammed, he must go to the mountain,” KKD added.
